Double Chocolate CookiesJul 14, 2016
Here at Bakes HQ we thought you might need a treat to get you through that last push to the weekend. We've decided to make a batch of chocolate cookies filled with white chocolate chips. Why not make a batch and take them to work tomorrow to help everyone get that Friday feeling. Ingredients (makes x25) 110g butter, softened 100 caster sugar 80g soft brown sugar 1 egg 50g cocoa powder 115g self raising flour 150g white chocolate chips Method Preheat the oven to 180C and line two baking trays. Cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the egg, cocoa and flour and mix until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop tablespoons of the mixture onto the baking trays and cook for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and leave to firm up on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Optional - melt a little white chocolate to drizzle over the top! Are you tempted to make a batch? If you have a go we would love to see your bakes by tagging us in your pictures on Instagram using @bakesbox or #bakesbox.
