We have discovered the most amazing thing here at Bakes HQ…No Churn Ice-cream! Ice-cream made in minutes ready to go in the freezer. Take two ingredients, double cream and condensed milk, whisk them together until thick, add whatever extras you fancy and pop in the freezer. We’ve made 4 different flavours which we know you’ll love. Eton mess, vanilla funfetti, cookie crumble and peanut butter with chocolate and caramel. Recipes Basic Ingredients (makes x1 tray of ice-cream) ½ a 397g can sweetened condensed milk 600ml pot double cream Method Whisk together the condensed milk and cream until thick. Add the desired flavours you want and stir through. Pour into a tray or tub, cover with cling film and freeze for 5 hours or overnight if possible. Variations Eton Mess: Stir through fresh raspberries and crumbled meringues Funfetti: Add 1 tsp of vanilla and lots of colourful sprinkles. Cookie Crumble: Crumble in your favourite chocolate cookies. Peanut Butter, Chocolate and Caramel: Stir through a big spoonful of peanut butter and caramel sauce. Melt some dark chocolate in the microwave and drizzle over the top. Mix again. This is a must try recipe for the weekend.
